Every Day is Like Sunday Linky

Don't go into a MANIC MONDAY without some great ideas for the week!  Follow the linky and see what amazing lessons and weekly units others are implementing and your week with be EASY LIKE SUNDAY MORNING!

If you would like to link up, your link must go to a blog post.  Share 3 things that viewers can easily implement or download to use the next day or for the week.  We don't want anyone starting off their school week in a panic!  Within your blog post, you may include ONE link to your product if it relates to the post and ONE link to another blog or store.

1.  Share something you already taught that helped motivate your students to learn.
2.  Share something you plan on teaching this week or in the near future.
3.  Share something you found amazing from another blog or store.
Optional:  Tell us what you plan to do this Sunday!

Grab the linky poster above and add it to your post.  Last, come back and click the link up button below!

Here are my links for the first Every Day is Like Sunday Linky!

Brainstorming:  Cut out templates for the students to trace in the "Ideas" section of their Interactive Writing Notebooks. Then write ideas around them:  I am.....I wonder.....5 senses......I love......  My family.......  These will give your students plenty of ideas when they get writer's block!

These templates are easy to make!  You can also find them:   Interactive Writing Notebook

We are going to begin a Mystery Unit.  My read aloud will be Ghost of Fossil Glen by Cynthia DeFelice.  Students literally run to the library to check out her other books after I read it!  Students will be reading one of my favorite books Bunnicula by Deborah and James Howe and several mystery short stories (Ex.  What Really Happened to Humpty?) along with a real mystery article.  We will be identifying the mystery elements in each.  Then we will compare/contrast the elements as well as the authors' craft. There are some Online Mystery Stories for children too!

Just Wild About Teaching blog has the cutest Halloween craftivity!  You have to check it out!!!!!  Ms. C has other cute Halloween ideas on her blog too!  Click here::  Witch in a Pot

I will be spending the day with my daughter who is home for the weekend from college!  The family will go to church together and I will make her favorite dinner, lasagna!  We will have to eat early so she doesn't have to drive back in the dark.  It will be a great Sunday!  Since we have a workday tomorrow, I have an extra day to plan and get ready for the week!  Here we are a couple weeks ago when I went to visit her:

Thanks for visiting!
